Terms & Conditions of Hire
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Your hire agreement
These terms apply to private event equipment hire and staffing arranged with Canna Model Agency. Sending the website form is an enquiry. A booking is confirmed only when we have checked availability, agreed the event requirements and price in writing, and received any payment specified in that written agreement. The agreed quotation and these terms form the hire agreement; specific agreed details in the quotation take priority.
2. Packages, prices and payment
The Social is £425, The Gathering is £795 and The Main Event is £1,450 for the inclusions described on this website. All compulsory charges, applicable taxes, delivery arrangements and agreed extras will be stated in the final quotation before you commit. Liverpool City Region delivery and setup is included in The Social. Nationwide UK delivery is included in The Main Event; access and delivery feasibility must be confirmed.
No card details or payments are collected through this website. Any booking deposit, refundable equipment security deposit, balance payment date, accepted payment method and refund conditions will be set out in writing before you agree. No unspecified deposit or fee is payable merely because you submit an enquiry.
3. Adult events and permitted use
Our hire service provides equipment and professional staff for private, in-person events attended by adults aged 18 or over. The event format, guest arrangements and intended use of all equipment must be agreed before booking.
Hosts are responsible for making sure their event complies with the applicable UK requirements, including the Gambling Act 2005 and any venue conditions. Tell us about your proposed arrangements so we can assess whether the service is suitable. Hiring equipment does not grant a gambling licence or establish an exemption. See the Gambling Commission’s guidance.
4. Delivery, access and collection
You must provide an accurate venue address, contact person, parking and loading information, stairs or lift details, doorway widths and any venue restrictions. Equipment requires a safe, dry indoor area with adequate space and, where agreed, a suitable power supply. We will confirm dimensions, setup time, collection time and any access-related charges before booking. Tell us promptly if the venue or access changes.
Equipment remains our property or that of our appointed supplier. Do not move, modify, sub-hire or open machines without authorisation. Staff may stop an activity where conditions are unsafe or the agreed use is breached.
5. Care, damage and responsibility
You are responsible for reasonable care of hired equipment while it is at your venue. Please report damage, loss or faults immediately and do not attempt repairs. Any liability for loss or damage must reflect the actual reasonable loss caused by a breach of your obligations; normal wear and tear and defects not caused by you or your guests are excluded. Any security deposit deductions will be itemised and explained.
6. Changes, cancellation and refunds
Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel. We will provide the applicable event-specific cancellation schedule before you enter into the agreement. Any cancellation charge must be fair, reflect reasonable losses and take account of costs saved or a replacement booking. A booking is not subject to an undisclosed automatic non-refundable deposit.
Where the statutory cancellation exception for leisure services on a specific date applies, a 14-day cooling-off right may not be available. We will explain the relevant position before you book. Your mandatory consumer rights remain in place. If we cannot provide the agreed service, we will discuss an acceptable alternative or refund the affected service.
7. Our responsibility
We will provide the agreed service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We are not responsible for a failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, but will keep you informed and take reasonable steps to minimise its effects. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
8. Contact, complaints and law
Contact events@cannamodel.com, +441512270971, or 3 Vernon St, Liverpool L2 2AY, UK, office 9. Please give your enquiry or booking reference and a description of any issue. We will review it and seek a fair resolution.
The agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers living elsewhere in the UK retain the mandatory protections and court rights applicable to them.
